Fall 2020 End-of-Course Testing Information

 
The 2020 Fall End of Course (EOC) state assessment will take place during the week of December 14 – 17, 2020 according to the following schedule:
 
  • Monday, December 14 - English II
  • Wednesday, December 15 - Biology 
  • Thursday, December 17 - Math I and Math III
 
EOC testing is for scholars enrolled in the fall semester of the above courses ONLY.
 
 
ARRIVAL EXPECTATIONS: 
 
  • Testers must arrive on campus by 7:30am.
  • Testing will begin at 8:00am and should conclude by 1:00pm.
  • Testers arriving after the assessment has begun will not be permitted entry.

Rocky Mount Prep will provide bus transportation to and from the school on each assessment day. Testers must provide the proper information by December 10 in order to receive this service.

Car riders are expected to arrive on campus at the appropriate time and have a pre-arranged pickup at the conclusion of the assessment day. There will be no phones available for use to arrange rides.

 
Scholars will have access to FREE breakfast and lunch during their assessment time while on campus.
 
During the 2020 Fall EOC assessment, Rocky Mount Prep will adhere to all local, state, and federal COVID-19 health and safety guidelines as described below:
 
  1. Each tester will be required to take a COVID-19 health screening prior to entering any school property or facility (transportation, school, and classroom). All testers must wear the appropriate face covering throughout the assessment timeframe. 

  2. Each testing room will be limited to the governor’s executive order of no more than ten people in an indoor setting with the spacing of six feet between each person.

  3. Each testing room will be cleaned according to COVID-19 facility sanitation protocol.

  4. All testing materials will be sanitized per COVID-19 protocol.

  5. Testers are not permitted to bring any outside items into the testing areas other than personal cell phones and appropriate attire. Cell phones will be placed in a secure location during the assessment and returned upon completion of the assessment.
